In Keeping Cosmic Education Wonder-filled, Deborah Diesing and Claudia Mann share their passion for Cosmic Education and Creative Expressions as a means of deepening student interests, activating engagement, and advancing academic skills...all in an atmosphere of joy and wonder!
In this one-hour workshop, they will share a few of the ways they connect any cultural study to the arts, science and academic development. The handouts include ideas and materials you can put to use in your classroom immediately. the hardest part will be deciding what to do first!
Your Instructor
Deborah Diesing completed her undergraduate degree in elementary education from Northern Illinois University in 1997. Following this, Ms. Diesing earned her early childhood and lower elementary teaching certificate from the American Montessori Society as well as a masters in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Montessori philosophy From Chaminade University, Hawaii. She enjoys snowboarding, water skiing, caring for animals and her family, especially her 13-year-old son. As you can see, Debbie has a great commitment to helping others and being outdoors.
