Meet Claudia and Doug Mann

Ms. Mann has served the Montessori community as classroom guide, teacher educator, school founder and director.

She holds a Masters degree in Montessori education from Xavier University and AMS certifications in Elementary I, II and Secondary I. Written with her husband Doug, their book series, Paleontology for Kids, tells Earth’s story from the Big Bang to the present in language accessible to children.

Her current work as consultant and conference speaker focuses on cosmic classroom management and skills development. 

Doug Mann, the inspiration behind Fossilicious, is a retired Montessori teacher. His natural interest in Earth Science and gardening came along long before Montessori, but once he began teaching the younger elementary program, his students’ interest in Earth history blossomed.

Together, we’re passionate about blending curiosity, education, and exploration! With Claudia’s expertise in Montessori education and Doug’s love for Earth Science, our courses and resources bring the wonders of Earth’s history and skill-building to life. From engaging books to practical classroom tools, we aim to inspire young minds and foster a lifelong connection to learning and the natural world.

How long do I have access to the course and the download?

You have one year to access any and all of the courses. The downloadable resources are yours to keep.
